VBS2Fires DIS Mapping Configuration

VBS2Fires DIS Mapping Configurator patching tool helps the user to patch the “vbs_to_lvc.config” and “lvc_to_vbs.config” files in the config folder of the VBS2 directory with the added entries.

When installing the tool gets placed in:

C:\Users\userName\Documents\VBS2\VBS2Fires\Tools\DISConfiguratorForVBS2Fires\DISConfiguratorForVBS2Fires.exe.

A separate shortcut to access the tool is created in the Windows Start Menu and the Desktop shortcut. When uninstalling VBS2Fires, the tool will not be uninstalled, but the shortcut in the Windows Start Menu will be removed while the shortcut placed on the desktop will remain.

The Entries to Remove section gives the information about the duplicate entries, if the “vbs_to_lvc.config” tab is selected.  Non-compatible and duplicate entries will be shown if “lvc_to_vbs.config” tab is selected. The VBS2Fires DIS Mapping Configuration Tool can be found in the Tools folder placed in the VBS2Fires directory.

Note:

Automatic HLA Alignment;

Automatic HLA Alignment can be changed according to the user preferences by turning the feature “On” and “Off”. Also user should make sure that VBS2 is not running before updating the value.

This feature will check the LVCAlignToGround option in the “VBS2.cfg “ file located at/in VBS2 User Directory, for an example: C:\Users\userName\Documents\VBS2NG or C:\Users\userName\Documents\VBS2\VBS2 directory and update the file as follows;

On - LVCAlignToGround = 1

Off – LVCAlignToGround = 0

In-order to get the Air burst to work correctly the LVCAlignToGround value should be “0” (or off).
