Template Missions

There are a number of example missions provided with the VBS3Fires distributions.  These will provide you with an example of how to construct a VBS3Fires mission or a template to build upon.  Missions that begin with “NATO_” use the US doctrine of call for fire, 6 elements and 3 transmissions.  Missions that begin with “CmnWth_” use the Commonwealth doctrine.

These missions are provided as packed missions that can be played after VBS3Fires is installed. They are also provided as unpacked source files which can be used as a reference or template in building customised missions.

The source files for the missions are located in:

<VBS3Fires_INSTALL_DIR>\SimCentricTechnologies\VBS3Fires\samples

These missions can be copied in to the standard user VBS3 mpmissions directory and run from there as you would run any other VBS3 mission. The usual location for the VBS3 mpmissions directory is:
