VBS3Fires contains a text-based combat net radio simulation for call-for-fire. Radio transmissions may be sent between entities in the VBS3 environment. This allows the simulation of Offensive Support nets and it sits alongside the standard VBS3 Radio System/CNR Sim which can be used to simulate Manoeuvre unit communication nets.

To send a radio transmission in VBS3Fires, simply use one of the call-for-fire transmission windows or the free text window to type the desired transmission text. The use of these windows is covered in the call-for-fire section of this manual .
