SAF-FUZE™ is a web-based commercial off the shelf software platform which provides a single GUI to access multiple simulation services. This is accomplished through two key user extendable software components; 3D GUI and visualization engine capable of defining and visualizing scenarios covering Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) and a fully documented integration API designed to be distributable and extendable by end customer to allow direct integration of other simulation engines and components

Senior Director – North/ South America

Key features include:

  • Web-based design to allow easy deployment across enterprise.
  • Architected to be expandable, allowing new services to be added/adjusted by user
  • Support for User management covering different roles within the scenario (white team, red team, blue team, observer, etc.).
  • Support the management and visualization of full spectrum of operations, from the squad level representation through strategic Joint and/or Combined operations.
  • Clean separation via documented and extendable API allows the GUI layer to be completely abstracted and agnostic to any of the underlying the simulation systems used to execute the wargame.

SAF-FUZE has been used by customers to provide a common GUI providing data visualisation and simulation controls which is accomplished through adopting a standards-based approach to the end solution via utilizing a service-oriented architecture (SOA). The use of a SOA has allowed the integration of multiple independent simulation modules and services, each with a clearly defined Programmatic Interface (API), into a single GUI and data presentation layer

Potential users of SAF-FUZE are typically looking to implement a wargaming/high level simulation and analysis toolset by utilising multiple engines and technologies rather than developing a solution based on a single simulation engine, or Semi-Automated Forces (SAF) technology which could effectively lock the customer into a single dominant proprietary solution, or produce sub optimal performances for all of the simulation use cases the wider system is required to meet.
