Troubleshooting
Running and connecting VBS2Combined Arms
I cannot get VBS2Combined Arms to launch
I get an error dialog telling me that VBS2Combined Arms is already running when I start
VBS2Combined Arms will not connect to VBS2
I get a disconnection message
I get unexpected behavior when I try and run two Stand Alone VB2Fires systems or two Instructor VBS2JointFires systems in the same VBS2 scenario.
“SEVERE: Cannot load map UTM origin coordinate. Aborting initialization.”
Connecting VBS2Combined Arms to a VBS2 scenario in progress
When a scenario is loaded with more than 3 observers and gun-lines from a dedicated server, only observers R1, R2, R3 can create missions and 10,20,30 gun-lines are responsive.
Why does VBS2Combined Arms have performance issues when the scenario is executed from preview mode within the Offline Mission Editor?
Graphical user interface
When I click on a menu item, the corresponding window is not visible
Firing guns
My guns do not fire where I expect them to fire
My guns will not fire at all
When I try and fire the guns, I get a ‘Target too close’ or ‘Target too far’ response over the radio.
There is a delay when AI is responding to a call-for-fire
Laser designation
When I laser designate a target and send the information, VBS2Combined Arms does not respond
VBS2 Pause and Resume
When a scenario is paused in the VBS2 2D view on the event that the 'ESC' key is pressed, the scenario will resume
Flight Deconfliction 3D View
3D View loading depends on Computer performance
Effects in VBS2
Craters disappear in VBS2 when more rounds of DPICM is fired
Illum Effects in high wind situations
Sim Studio does not display correctly

What are the correct steps of conducting a coordinated illumination
